I was update my DevExpress and Xafari components from version 13.2 to 17.2 and have many problems
One of them I can not open Model.xafml

One or more errors were encountered while loading the designer. The errors are listed below. Fixing some of the errors may require code or model changes.
Can not convert type "string" to "VSLangProj.prjOutputType"

If I choose to open with XAF Model Editor, Model opens,
but I can't open in Xafari Model Editor

Hello krivcov!

We have managed to reproduce your issue. The error occurs only when using Microsoft Visual Studio 2013.
At the moment we can offer the following solutions to the problem:
- use Visual Studio version 2015 and higher;
- since In your project, you do not use an application based on Application Host technology (see Xafari ERP Concepts and Application Hosts), you can remove an extension from Visual Studio called "Xafari v17.2.4011 Model Editor", this extension allows you to use the Xafari Model Editor for editing the Application Model ( see Xafari Model Editor). After removing the extension, the application model based on the Application Host technology can not be edited.
