Hi,

Is there already url encoding implemented in Hyperlink Property Editor and if not, what is best way to do it?
For example if I use Hyperlink Property Editor with Phone Numbers it works fine if number is not in international format but if number is for example +358 9 123 4567 it should be url encoded to work with phone clients like Skype for Business, Skype and etc.

Or is there anyway to configure Hyperlink Property Editor to use tel: URL prefix instedt of callto: prefix.

It would be the best if phone url prefix can be configurable or you can choice between tel and callto? I'm not sure is URL encoding really needed but usually +@ etc. chars are not valid for URLs.

I just tested with with couple of browsers and it depends which browser you are using which prefix is working. More standard way to hyperlink phonenumber is to use tel:-prefix like tel:+3586123123

Hi Villi,

We have found that callto: is working incorrect with Skype if phone number includes spaces  (+358 9 123 4567 in your example)

Let's clarify what exactly are you going to implement:

1. Just correct Skype calling with phone numbers included spaces (like +358 9 123 4567) - only this issue?

2. Or want you to change prefix in Hyperlink with any other you want?

3. Something else, more complicated or simpler?

Your answer would help us implement correct changes in the Editor.

Thanks!
