Matt DavisClient | We are currently looking to move from the silveright client to a Html5 client. Currently looking at your implementation and FlexMonster. The current thinking is that it would be better to stay with the same look and feel. As such we have been doing a side by side comparison. One of our testers has raised the following for issues regarding the differences between your silverlight and the html5 client. Could you please provide feedback on how we can regain some if not all of the functionality (Screenshots attached)? #Issue 1 Currently with the silverlight client when there is a long list to choose from, I just scroll to the year, for example, that I want (Screenshot 1-a). With the html client I have to scroll down then click "load next", then scroll down, click "Load Next" had to do this 3-4 X before geting to the 2018. (Screenshot 1-b) #Issue 2 With the silverlight implementation, there is a icon / button to click that will select all of the multi select boxes, then I can unselect if I just want to exclude one. (Screenshot 2-a) With the html client there is no way to select all w/ the multi select boxes, this "+" icon/button seemed like it would be, but it is a slicer, which I dont understand, which is OK. The button to the left of the "+" has kind of the same hover over text of "show only selected items" vs "select visible" in current olap. But it really only shows you then the data points you have selected. (Screenshot 2-b) #Issue 3 With the silverlight implementation there is a way to "find" multiple fields at once (Screenshot 3-a) In the html client, I had used the magnify glass to bring up a search field, but ONLY ONE at a time. I had to enter what I wanted, click ok, then go back to the field in the rows / columns etc to bring up the pop up then click the magnify glass again to search. (Unable to add the last screenshot) |
