I would like to know if Xafari will support .net 5 or .net 6. Since Devexpress Xaf has had support for about a year now since .net core 3.1.
Will Xafari support .net 5 or 6

Hello Bill Mugaga,

We are currently testing Xafari on .net5 and plan to release a new version in the first quarter.
The new version will have many improvements, and therefore a lot of Breaking Changes, compared to the x011 version.

What components are you interested?

That's good news.

Xafari has a great feature set as it is so maintaining the current feature set is enough.

Am also concerned about how you are going to communicate to
Application servers in winforms.
Do you planning to go with the
WebApiDataStoreService or implement a custom solution since wcf is no longer supported.

Also will it be under a separate subscription.

The data export and import features lack ui for setting mapping at runtime.So mappings can only be set during development and that can be challenging if you are developing a product for different customers.

We don't use WCF or WebApiDataStoreService anywhere.

About the designer - so far we have no such plans, because we ourselves do not need a designer and the priority of this work is very low.
