Hi,
my understanding is that Docflow module works only with Domain Components.
From your documentation: "This documentation is relevant for x08 and previous versions."
Maybe you have some hidden papers about it? 🙂

I hesitate to use DC because Devexpress docs says that it is in maintenance mode. What are your plans with it (lot of your Enterprise staff relies on DC)?

Sorry for the delay with the answer.

The Docflow module works not only with Domain Components, but also with XPO objects.

Unfortunately, we do not have the actual documentation of the Docflow module for version 11. I also want to note that the work of the Docflow Module in version 11 is very different from the work in version 8.

We are actively working on the Docflow Module and plan to develop it further. We also plan to update the documentation of the Docflow Module for version 11 by the end of the month.

Unfortunately, at the moment, we have no opportunity to update the documentation on the site.
We have prepared a small tutorial on Docflow, which describes how to use the module with XPO objects.
There is also documentation on setting up Docflow for version 11
