We are super happy to have released the long-awaited HTML5 version of Ranet OLAP Pivot Table last week.
Our team has put plenty of effort in trying to develop the best product that would satisfy our customers’ high demands, and the new Ranet OLAP is the result of it.
There is no mystery why we decided to develop the new HTML5 version of our OLAP Pivot Table. Silverlight is gradually falling into oblivion as new technologies emerge that are faster, more efficient and convenient. Engineers have to deal with knowledge-intensive and time consuming tasks faster and better than ever before, the feat these technologies now let enable them to accomplish.
So Galaktikasoft decided not to shy away from the current trends, and developed a new version of Ranet OLAP using these new technologies that would enable rich and powerful business application development for Web and Windows on a tight schedule, and with no prior hands-on experience with OLAP data.
We built the new pivot table using such traditional technologies as NET. and C#, in combination with the modern HTML5, AngularJS and jQuery. This will allow to use Ranet OLAP to develop responsive web applications that will run on all devices, from desktop and tablet to mobile, and can be easily integrated with other solutions regardless of the technologies and tools they are built with. It will also ensure full compatibility with all major browsers.
Engineers using Ranet OLAP Pivot Table will simply need to include it in the application UI in order to get an efficient module for interactive analytical reporting based on OLAP data, without spending hours and hours on programming. The users, in their turn, will be able to create efficient interactive reports by just dragging and dropping fields, share, filter them etc.
